Where Anvela comes from

Anvela started long before it had a name, behind the counter of a building-materials shop. Olamide Ademola grew up helping his father run that shop, selling cement and everything else a builder needs. Whenever he wasn't in school, that's where he was: serving customers, counting stock and learning how a business really runs, one sale at a time.

He went on to study Food and Bioprocess Engineering at the University of Ilorin. Those years weren't always easy, so he paid his own way, laying bricks and fixing tiles on building sites until he graduated in 2024. The shop had taught him that money has to be earned and counted carefully. The building sites taught him the worth of work done properly.

After national service, he became a project coordinator on a telecom site-audit project for an engineering company. The first idea for Anvela was simple: a tool to make those audits easier. The more he built, the bigger the idea grew. He had seen businesses lose stock nobody could account for, owners lose trust in the people running their shops, and Nigerians abroad hold back from investing at home because they couldn't see what was happening. Later, months on a warehouse floor showed him what good stock control looks like when it is done right.

Anvela brings all of that together: the shop counter, the site audit, the warehouse, and the trust that holds a business together. It is built so an owner can see everything clearly, decide with confidence, and hand over the day-to-day without losing sight of it. This is only the beginning, and there is more to come.

What Anvela does

Sell: take sales at the counter, print or send receipts, and manage open orders and job cards.

Stock: know what you have in each store, receive deliveries, count, move and reorder stock.

Money: invoices, payments, expenses, tax and the value of your stock, on Growth plans and above.

People: invite your team, give each person the right access, and see who did what.

Anvela Market (anvela.ng/market): every business can open a shop online. Customers pay through Paystack, straight to the shop.

Ellis: a built-in assistant that answers questions about your own business and how to use Anvela.

Plans

Start is free for one store, three people and 300 items. Growth, Business and Enterprise add Money, more stores and more people. Prices are on anvela.ng and are reviewed once a year, in January.
